Abuja: The convener of the Write-A-Thon initiative, Mr. Shuaibu Ishaq, has commended President Bola Tinubu for prioritizing Nigeria’s future over immediate political gains through his bold economic reforms.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, Write-A-Thon is an initiative aimed at awakening national consciousness by encouraging citizens to engage in dialogue about the country’s future. The project features a 72-hour writing marathon, which will culminate in a book titled ‘The Last Card: Why it must be Tinubu (Again)’.

During a news conference in Abuja, Ishaq articulated his admiration for President Tinubu’s leadership and the long-term benefits of his policies. He urged Nigerians to exercise patience and continue supporting the President, emphasizing that Tinubu has chosen the more challenging yet noble path of implementing reforms despite significant pressures.

Ishaq further explained that the Write-A-Thon project was inspired not only by his appreciation for Tinubu’s policies but also by a commitment to create a comprehensive 72-hour account of the reforms under Tinubu’s administration. He described the initiative as a patriotic duty to honor Tinubu’s dedication to nation-building and his focus on the country’s future.

He also expressed his intention to present the completed compendium to President Tinubu on Nigeria’s 65th Independence Day, reaffirming his commitment to the project.
