Senegal disputes reports 300 migrants lost at sea

Senegal has rejected claims made by a Spanish NGO over the weekend that 300 Senegalese migrants had disappeared at sea on their way to the Canary Islands. The Walking Borders NGO said the largest of the boats had left from the southern Senegalese town of Kafountine on June 27. Dakar though insists they were rescued by Morocco.
