Singapore: Italy’s Lucrezia Ruggiero and Enrica Piccoli claimed the silver medal in the women’s duet free artistic swimming event at the world aquatics championships held in Singapore on Thursday. The duo achieved a score of 278.7137 points, placing them second behind Spain’s Lilou Lluis Valette and Iris Thio Casas, who secured the gold with 282.6087 points.

According to Ansa News Agency, this achievement marks Italy’s third medal in artistic swimming at the world championships. Ruggiero and Filippo Pelati had earlier won a bronze medal in the mixed duet technical routine event, while Pelati also achieved a third-place finish in the men’s solo free event.
