With Dubai (UAE) based United Arab Shipping Company (S.A.G.) and Seaspan Ship Management Ltd., Vancouver (Canada), two more major players within the Container Shipping Industry have joined the Forum recently, increasing the number of CSSF members to thirteen.
Further, the former membership of Univan Ship Management is continued by the Anglo-Eastern Univan Group from Hong Kong, following the merger of Anglo-Eastern and Univan in 2015.
The CSSF now represents more than 30% of the TEU capacity of the global container ship fleet.
The Forum will hold its next regular, biannual Members’ Meeting in Hamburg (Germany) from 12th May to 13th May 2016. As in previous meetings the second day will be open for representatives from Container Shipping Companies to participate as observers.
