Representatives of six European banks meet members of the tax rulings committee this week. The environment committee votes on a motion calling for mandatory country of origin labelling for meat and milk. Palestinian Foreign Minister Riad Al-Malki and the Egyptian Grand Mufti Shawki Allam appear before the foreign affairs committee, while MEPs and parliamentarians from Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine meet this week to discuss energy cooperation and common security threats.

The Grand Mufti of Egypt Shawki Allam attends the same meeting for a discussion on interreligious and intercultural dialogue.
The budgetary control committee votes this week on whether to approve spending by EU institutions and bodies in the 2014 financial year. Migration Commissioner Dimitris Avramopoulos joins the same committee on Wednesday to debate how the EU is putting its migration policy funds to use.
In a vote on Tuesday environment committee members are likely to reiterate their demand for binding EU rules on country of origin labelling for meat, processed meat, and milk. A resolution on whether the EU should renew the marketing authorisation for the controversial herbicide glyphosate is also to be put to a vote.
The foreign affairs committee also votes on two reports on the progress towards EU membership made by Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
A session of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly, which brings together MEPs and Armenian, Georgian, Moldovan and Ukrainian parliamentarians, takes place in Brussels this week.
