Lagos: The Airline Operators of Nigeria (AON) has congratulated the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Mr Festus Keyamo (SAN), on his appointment as Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Banjul Accord Group (BAG). This announcement was made in a statement signed by AON President Alhaji Abdulmunaf Yunusa and Vice President Dr Allen Onyema.

The statement praised Keyamo’s leadership, citing achievements such as the historic Lagos-to-London flight by Air Peace and Nigeria’s participation in the Aviation Finance Conference in Dublin, which has elevated the nation’s global standing in aviation.
Minister Keyamo’s focus on safety, efficiency, and sustainable growth is evident in his push for infrastructure investment and his advocacy for fully implementing the Cape Town Convention, enhancing Nigeria’s international aviation profile.
